How to Create a New Listserv

For SIU List Owners ONLY: 

The listserv was recently upgraded to 16.0. All lists should function without any special intervention by the list owner. You should be able to send email to your list and send commands to listserv via email as in the past. If you wish to look around at the new web interface, the url is:

New list creating procedure: 

  1. Go to the Listserv Request Page and download the request form. 
  2. Once the form has been downloaded to your computer, open it in Adobe Reader and fill it out. Attach and e-mail the completed form to:

After the form has been recieved and processed by LISTSERV admin staff at Information Technology, an email will be sent to you.

How to Register to the New Inferface:

  1. Navigate to the Listserv Homepage
  2. On the right hand side of the screen, click Get Password.
  3. Enter your email address and a password, along with the same password as confirmation, and click Register Password.
  4. An email will be sent to you. Open it and click the link to verify your password.
  5. A popup window or new tab will display confirming your password.
  6. Now go back to your web browser and click in the lower left corner.
  7. At the right side of the screen, click Log In and sign into the listserv web interface.
