SalukiTech Software Licensing

Southern Illinois University maintains a variety of software titles to be used for academic instruction and research purposes. This software is generally available for distribution to full time faculty staff. Student options are available for most software. If you are unable to find the software you need in the tabs below, check the software options the university has available for purchase.

ArcGIS
ArcGIS is a geographic information system (GIS) for working with maps and geographic information.

EndNote
EndNote is a bibliography, citation, and reference management tool for Windows and Macintosh computers. This software is available for Graduate students only.

JMP
JMP is a suite of computer programs for statistical analysis

Mathematica
Mathematica is a symbolic mathematical computation program used in many scientific, engineering, mathematical, and computing fields.
*All enrolled students receive individual licenses, requested through the Wolfram Portal.

Microsoft
Students have access to Office 365 which is a web-based version of Microsoft Office. Students may also download up to five free copies of Microsoft Office. This software does not need to be requested. 

SPSS
SPSS is a statistical software which can conduct complex data analysis. 

TurnItIn
TurnItIn is an online service to catch and prevent plagiarism. This software is available to everyone through Desire2Learn (D2L).
