SIGN IN ONCE - USE YOUR SIU EMAIL ADDRESS
At SIU, we have changed the way you access SIU systems and software. To make sign in more efficient, we have gone to Single Sign-On (SSO), meaning you sign into the system once to access most of your accounts. To make sign in easier, where we previously used Network IDs, you will now sign in using your SIU email address.
In conjunction with these changes, we have also moved toward Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This is a two-step process to verify who is trying to access an account. As of January 2021, MFA is now required to sign in to all SIU systems.
The easiest way to know if a system has been transitioned from our old system to the new sign-in protocol is by looking at the sign-in pop up window.
New Authentication Screen
If you see the clock tower, sign in with your SIU email address.
Existing Authentication Screen
If you see the predominantly Saluki Maroon sign-in window, use your Network ID and password.
