Our eLearning site will assist you in using the systems that makes up the Student Information Systems (SIS). All eLearning courses are online training courses. These courses are short PDF documents that will only take five to ten minutes to read. In addition, you can save or print the document and refer to it later.
The eLearning courses listed below are required and MUST be completed before requesting access to the product. When you have completed the eLearning material, you will need to record that the training has been completed. To do this, click on the link to record your completed training for each individual course. You will be asked to log in using your Network ID/password to confirm the course and the completion date.
Once training has been completed and recorded, access can be requested by clicking ‘Request Access to SIS’ under Login Quicklinks.
Admin Pages (Required to Complete Prior to Requesting Access)
The Admin Pages training has been developed to help you become familiar with navigating through the Admin Pages prior to any hands-on training that may be required.
Argos is a campus reporting tool that allows end-users to access and extract information from various databases in a report format. Argos Basic Training will show you how to run pre-defined reports.
Degree Works is a web-based tool that helps students and academic advisors monitor a student’s progress toward degree completion. Degree Works compares SIU’s official degree requirements with coursework completed.
SSC is a new platform integrating both Education Advisory Board’s Student Success Collaborative and Grades First functionality. SSC combines technology, research, case management, and predictive analytics to help instructions positively inflect degree completion outcomes for students around a model that includes triage, assessment, and intervention.
