CLIENT RELATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Client Relations and Communications (CRC) promotes the initiatives, projects, and on-going efforts of the Office of Information Technology (OIT). We keep campus clients engaged and informed about OIT services and initiatives to generate enthusiasm for new initiatives and increase adoption of new tools. The CRC reaches out to administrators, departments, faculty, staff, students, and the local community to build strong relationships; it is only after we have instilled trust and confidence in our client community that we can begin to inform, persuade, or call them to action. Our ultimate goal is to develop the OIT as a value-added partner with the University, and a technology resource for both the SIU campus and the entire southern Illinois region.
