SCAM EMAILS
Educational institutions are often targets of email scams and SIU is no exception. The Office of Information Technology and our Information Security team work diligently to prevent spam, scam, and phishing emails as well as and other malicious activity from entering our digital environment. Despite our best efforts, scammers are clever, and it is likely that you will receive these emails from time to time. If you receive suspicious email, DO NOT click any links. Delete it immediately. If you do click on a link, or need help, contact Salukitech at 618-453-5155 or by email at salukitech@siu.edu.
