When contacting the Solution Center, please have the following information available:

- Dawg Tag number
- Your phone number
- Your location if on campus

FAQ
What is my Network ID?
Your network ID number, combined with your password, allows you access to technology across campus. Your network ID is different than your DawgTag number—it has an SIU prefix: SIU85xxxxxxx.
Where do I go to install Microsoft Office?
You can download up to five FREE downloads of Microsoft Office on to your personal device through the Office 365 Portal.
How do I get my email address?
Your email address is automatically assigned to you. The email address is formated this way: firstname.lastname@siu.edu. Check your email address on NetID. Some features in SIU technology systems—D2L and SalukiNet—require an email address to function.
How do I connect to WiFi?
To easily connect to eduroam and solve many connect problems visit the wireless configuration utility to run a wizard.
