The Project Management Office looks beyond stated needs and expectations to create plans, organize efforts, and motivate teams to move toward optimal results.
Our mission is to manage projects efficiently and effectively in support of the University’s mission. All of our efforts are aimed toward the benefit of the organization. Change is always met with resistance; through communication and thoughtful planning we engage users, encourage adoption, and meet resistance with understanding and reason. Change is disruptive by nature; our goal is maximizing results while minimizing this disruption. Change is glorious when the pain and fear of “the unknown” are replaced with patience, information, knowledge, and leadership. Our aim in the PMO is results that are timely, anticipated, acceptable, and sometimes spectacular!
